Duplicate Invoices

The same vendor invoice submitted or entered more than once, risking a double payment.

Duplicate invoices appear when a supplier resends a bill, staff key the same invoice twice, or PDF and paper versions both enter the queue. Left unchecked they become duplicate payments that are hard to claw back. Automated AP flags repeated invoice numbers, amounts, and vendor combinations before payment is released.
