Straight-Through Processing

Automated end-to-end handling of a transaction without manual steps.

Straight-through processing (STP) means a transaction flows from capture to completion without manual intervention. In AP, STP applies to invoices that pass all validation and matching rules automatically, leaving staff to focus only on exceptions.
